Safety / Quality

Cirrus LED Products are designed and built to ensure fool-proof operation over an extnded lifetime, supported by our rock-solid 5 year warranty. All our products are 3rd party qualified to international safety standards and rated for operation under water (up to 1 meter).
There are so many ways in the production process of LED modules to guarantee high quality. Let’s see what some of them are by examining the processes step by step.
Encapsulation: Encapsulation is the key for high quality LED bulbs. Good encapsulation materials are designed to endure higher operating temperatures, resist yellowing, and transmit more light. Encapsulation is the process of making a functioning LED bulb from a semiconductor chip. By paying particular attention to who is encapsulating your bulbs and how, a critical degree of control can be gained over the quality of your end product.
Raw Material QC: Another essential step, this is to make sure all materials we are going to use in the production line are reliable and meet quality requirements. Samples will be picked up from different materials and parts and inspected by QC machines. Multiple QC tests will be conducted by machines, including salt spray test, high and low temperature resistance test, LEDs angle and luminance test, etc.
High Quality Machines: High quality production machines do not just enhance the production efficiency but also are very critical to LED modules’ uniformity, life span and resistance of yellowing.
Room Temperature And Humidity: We always maintain the temperature at 75 F and the humidity around 60% in the factory. Under higher or lower temperature and humidity, electronic parts will be more easily damaged by static electricity and moisture.
QC of IC Driving Board: This process is done both by manual methods and by machine after soldering and IC pasting. Before the next step, we have to make sure the soldering is even and ICs are perfectly pasted on the driving board through close examination.
QC after diode insertion: After LEDs are inserted on the PC boards, it is important to confirm that every LED diode is straight and positioned in the correct angle. This assures the color and light on each module within a display will be even and consistent.
Aging Test: All assembled modules have to go through a critical aging test. Modules will be lit up for a 72 hour burn in to test the uniformity of lights and functions of all parts. This is to eliminate any quality problem in any part of the module and make sure the LED display will have a consistent performance.
Water Proof Test: Water-proof modules will go through water resistance tests. The whole module will be dunked in water 3 times for a period of 5 minutes each time. This is to make sure when the display is placed outdoors, all modules will be able to endure inclement weather.
