Position:Senior Accountant

About the Job

The Senior Accountant will support the Controller full-time and assist with a wide variety of tasks. while maintaining organized records of accounting and company activities. A successful candidate will be self-motivated and able to proactively work in a fast-paced environment. Job Duties

 

Job Duties:

  • Assist Controller with monthly closing activities
  • Manage Accounts Payable and T&E reimbursement
  • Manage and reconcile corporate credit card accounts
  • Maintain accounting ledgers/reconciliations
  • Manage Accounts Receivable
  • Research and resolve customer issues pertaining to A/R
  • Maintain and manage the process for customer credit evaluation
  • Complete LEAN training and participate in continuous improvement projects when you see the potential to eliminate waste
  • Assist CFO with FP&A

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • Good communication, organizational and multitasking abilities
  • 3-8 years of relevant experience (CPA a plus)
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • PMP certification preferred but not required

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time
  • Close visual focus required

 

Compensation:

$78,000/yr -$85,000/yr
